Every specialty tea brand wants to have their spirit and essence reflected in their teas. Blue Ocean Tea provides consultation services for specialty tea companies, including: new product development, tea ingredient sourcing, blending, certifications, packaging, and origin visits. We work collaboratively with specialty tea company clients to refine your vision and bring it to fruition.

Paint Us a Picture of What You Imagine

We work together with you to develop a strategy, thinking through which tea blends and specialty teas you want and how best to achieve the results you’re looking for. With our in-house tea blending equipment and expertise, we build custom samples and send them to you. Then we schedule a video call and taste the sample teas together, sharing the experience, taking notes, and refining the blends.

R&D

Aside from consulting, Blue Ocean Tea is also invested in Research and Development (R&D). In one recently completed project, we partnered with a company to develop rapidly compostable tea bags, which take three weeks to biodegrade as opposed to the current industry standard of 2 years.
